I removed the calipers from the front of my 1600.

They are two piston calipers(no markings on them) and the pads have "volvo" on them.

Is it safe to assume that the calipers are off a volvo and the rotors aswell?
The rotors are also vented.......Anybody?

yeah volvo's have 2spots on the rear - i've literally JUST removed mine for the 1000wagon.

as for the vented discs - post a pic and we'll be able to tell you. i doubt it though, volvos are 5 stud and have a cast in hub (?) where the hub and rotor are one piece.
