Hi All,

Well I thought I'd post up my Datto because work is boring me. Its a 1972 Datsun 1600. Heres some details:

Black Top sr20det
Arias Forged Pistons
Eagle H Beam Steel Rods
Tomei Camshaft
ITS T60-1 Turbo
Stinger EMS
Holden Trimatic Gearbox
B&M Pro-Stick shifter
R200 LSD

Not really sure what information to put up, so there you go. I had the car on the dyno for a tune, and it recorded 330rwhp @ 19psi, with around 340lbs torque.

My apologies for the photos - they really suck but waiting on some decent ones from a guy at the moment.

I had a similar reaction when finding it had a trimatic, but after driving it I was impressed. Its really nice to drive - very smooth. It has an agressive shift on it but that doesn't affect daily driving. Its all manualised too so its more fun then just bangin in drive. Its got a stall on it also so it doesn't want to jump around at lights, or stall or anything.

It looks like it may be in a mag soon so hopefully I can get a copy of the photos for here.

Hey mate - this is how i bought it. Unfortunately the guy wanted to keep the innocent plates so now she just has standard issue plates. Although the blue on the new plates looks pretty good against the car ahaha. The sr's a little rocket, and all I can say is whoever built it must know what their doing!

Yeah I got it abit cheaper then advertised. In my opinion I think I got it for a very good price for what has been done to it. Of course I'm no expert - but in my humble opinion I don't think I could rebuild just the engine for what I paid. I did my research before purchasing- and with a coupleof external factors it was too sweet a deal to pass.

In regards to specs Im not sure how much detail people want. If the mag article goes ahead I might just copy/paste her in.

well considering this is a post purely concerning your car and it's specs i think, you should do a comprehensive write up about what you know about the vehicle, then do updates of the post everytime the vehicl gets loked at/tuned/modified again, that is what the members section is all about, to give other readers ideas and pictures of how and what they can do to their own vehicle
