I work at repco and i think i'll be able to accomodate your needs for something less than even $400. If the original message with the dimensions is what you need i have many contacts that i can buy off. Intercoolers have dropped in price significantly. :D

cheers mate

if you could get me a price that would be great.

I can get them from nissan but the slave was a little too rich for my blood.

spring from them is $6 and boot $19, slave was between $96-130

baz reckons he can get them for $15 which is pretty damn good me thinx

Jimmy why don't you just use the L-series one like the guys on sr20 list suggested?

the only thing i was worried about there is getting one from a wreckers. a slave cylinder which has been deprived of fluid and left sitting in a yard to rust for a time is bad jujus.

i think the one baz offers is an l series one anyway and is looking to be the best option.

I can guarantee a wrecker in canberra would charge me more for a second hand, 30yr old l series slave than baz would for a brand new one.

the only other issue is the fact that i read another post here about someone who had issues with different slaves not fitting up right to his car. I think you replied to that one...???

That's nothing to do with the slave cylinder. The problem is just the little rod that fits between the slave and the clutch fork. This bit is easily changed.

My radiator is a custom 3 core of similar dimensions to a standard 1600 rad, only with a quality core. And yes the grill does fit on the front of my car no worries. Thanks for the advice guys, looks like I might have to bite the bullet and go for a custom intecooler as well

surface area of current cooler is too small for my application and is causing restriction of flow to the rad by about a 1/4 or more. Cooler does do a good job of cooling charged air tho :( . So if anyone is interested in said cooler let me know??
