Can anyone recommend any dyno tuners in Melbourne experienced with L series and Webers? I've previously had tuning done at Powerplay/Datrally but was not impressed with their approach to the task :(

Give Randy a call at Nissco.

He is pretty good, and now has a Dyno

Errol @ Datrats does tuning on the EFI Dynamics dyno. Might be worth a shot? Errol is a whiz at webers apparently.

Errol at EFI Dynamics tuned my L20 with twin 45's. Did a great job and was assisted by Errol Smith of Datrats fame.
Did a great job and was very professional. Nothing but praise for both of their work.

I'll tell you one not to use - and that is Northern Tuning Service in Thomastown.

I took an L28 with triple Dellortos to him (on recommendation by a carburetor service in the northern suburbs) and he changed the idle jets (by drilling) and Airs and Mains wherein it ran as rich as buggery after that. I also got it to run better than him after he had a go at it.

It guzzumpted fuel like nothing on earth until I recently took it somewhere else. The jets I paid for were changed back to what I had in the first place and with some other jet changes it is now a different car.

So I spent hundreds of dollars at Northern Tuning for crap results. AVOID!!
