Ok Im from the sticks and not Melbourne...... But what if we go straight out Burwood hwy to Belgrave then Emerald,left along Monbulk rd to Swansea rd and back down Mt Dandy tourist rd ? I dont know the area well or how long it would take or if theres a Maccas half way for a break,but thats something hey ???? |

OK here we have my sugestion which takes in all destinations posted now and sugestions made last trip ie Rob Roy etc From Tooronga Village head east along Burwood Hwy. Just after ElgarRd on Left hand side - turn LEFT into Station St. Straight over Maroondah Hwy/White Horse Rd Past Springfield Rd on right hand side Over Eastern Fwy. Straight over Doncaster Rd Past George St on right hand side Past King St on right hand side Past Reynolds Rd on Right hand side Past Porter St on right hand side Past Main Rd on left hand side Past Bridge st on left hand side Past Wattle tree rd on left hand side Past Research Rd on right hand side Past Kangaroo Gnd rd on right hand side TURN RIGHT into Eltham / Yarra Glen Rd Follow to end in Yarra Glen Turn south onto Melba Hwy Thru Cold Stream Keep right at Lights onto Maroondah Hwy TURN LEFT into Swansea Rd Past Hereford Rd on Left hand side Past York Rd on left hand side TURN LEFT into Mt Dndenong Tourist Rd Stay on this thru Mt Dandenong - Olinda - Sassafras - Ferny Creek - Tremont In Upper Ferntree Gully head back onto Burwood Hwy back to Tooronga Village Get you maps out and looky - having not been that way I am only guessing off melways etc

Oh yeah............... If this is an OK drive I will knock out some maps for all that show up so no one gets lost if separated in traffic...prob make a regroup at Yarra Glen somewhere....cool ?? If this is all way off the mark to what is general likes...Im cool with where ever we go....

Good detour through eltham is Mount Pleasent road.... it skips the whole of eltham (is very tight, probably too tight to thrash it hardcore). Its alot better than sticking bumper to bumper through Eltham main street. Anyway I guess if people want to go through there I will show them, or you can see on the melways page 21 I think. Sounds like it should be good, cant wait.... Even did a half arsed attempt at cleaning my car before I came to work, I would have missed heaps of bits but who cares it will be dark anyway!!! |

yep, I'll be there. Catching a lift with a mate in an r30. Unfortunately my 1600 isn't quite up to it, horrendous bump steer etc.  , anyway I'll see you all there!
