Someone - not me, honest! - backed our datto into a bullbar many years ago.(and backed it onto a giant rock, but thats another story!!). Anyway just wondering if this is easily fixed by a panelbeater. I would have thought so but just would like other opinions as to whether that is the case or wether it needs cutting and welding or a new 'ass' as YellowDat calls it....

Cheers, Neil.

i second doing it yourself and not bother with cutting/welding anything.
I'd grad a bloody big mallet a 5inch section of 4x2inch wood and hit it back into shape starting with the shaded red area first....

p.s. whats the hole next to the number plate?

Ok Guys

Guess it can't hurt.... and its certainly easy to get to. Probably should have done it a long time ago. The worst bit is probably on the rear quarter where it has a 'corner' but I dare say even that will come out. Thanks for comments
(and shading Nick!) Um.... that hole is where I put in a connector for the towbar:roll:. Probably wouldn't put it there if I had my time over. Might fix that during the restoration.... Surprisingly good towing vehicle, I found
...not for 30 ft caravans, obviously but for a box trailer it was great.

Cheers, Neil
