i am about to swap in a ka24 into my 78 datsun 510..just wondering if i could wire in the instrument panel from the 240 as well...think that would look kinda good...i plan on taking everything from the 240 all the wiring,ecu,,,etc..etc....just would like some info on it..

i mean the guage cluster

I think he means a '78 510, as in an Australian Stanza (known as 510 in America and presumably Canada as well. And assuming he is from Canada by user name !!!

Sorry, I doubt we would be much help here, we didn't get 240's here, well not the ones with the KA.

I do know the KA uses very wierd way of catching the tacho pulse, so if you want a working tacho, you might really want to look into doing this.

For some reason the states liked the 510 and kept it for what we called a Stanza.

I really want a KA 24 but we didn't get them here in Australia, hense why we wouldn't have too much info for you here.
