try www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au He is based in Melb. but has a very large range of auto rubber bits. Seem to be competitive, I think

Rare Spare's are a rip off. Try Datsport. They have the cheapest outer door rubbers and boot rubber. Freight won't cost that much to WA from SA either. Otherwise Old Scott's auot rubber is the go. They don't weight that much so you could get them to send 5kg Air express or express post :)

the prices on the rare spares site are abit out of order, i shopped around a fair bit when i was looking for rubbers and rare spares were cheaper than scotts auto rubber, spectrum and datsport. or maybe i just got them at the right time!

i checked rarespares this arvo and they want $1100 for a complete rubber set. I think this is a little steep.

'full kit' prices vary alot as some places include things that others don't in their 'full kit'
also some rubbers supplied arent required.
i've been hunting around for a good price for a while now & the best prices i have been given are from datsport.
quality is also a factor, something datsport doesn't skimp on.
cheers,
dave

I bought a full rubber kit for my 1600 from this dude in Malaysia:

http://www.geocities.com/datsun510my/

Delivery was pretty fast, the quality is good - they all fit properly.

And total price was $315 delivered.

80% of world's rubber production comes from South East Asia - cut out the middleman :)

It always amazes me that some people think that if you get the cheapest thing, that won't effect quantity or quality at all.

Best bet is to look through the contents of the kits (can be done thru their web pages), and ask around on quality. Then judge for yourself.

FWIW, I could have sworn Datsport had some Rare Spares rubbers for sale in their store, the last time I was there. :?:
