So we may 6 or 7 by the end of the year...yipee!

Sounds exciting, but I hope the motor is built to withstand that sort of boost because most guys that run 400 hp ca motors blow them up.

Who's your engineer ? And would you recommend him (or her ) ?

I'm looking for one in Newcastle as the only one I've had dealings with in the past has turned into a geotechnical and environmental engineer

Sounds good - I'd rather have someone who is interested in his work than someone who's more interested in the money.

Initially I just want to run all my ideas past him to get an idea of what id feasable, what isn't, how to proceed and so on.

I don't want to rush into it, then find out I've done something which is going to cause me probs, or have to be redone later on.

Update time boys, i now have the engine bay painted, brake system in and most of the interior ready just got to finish off some wiring then when my Maddat fitting kit comes back up it will be fitting the DE and box

update time guys: got all the wriing done except 4 a few things that i am getting my auto sparky 2 do, got the Maddat Fitting kit up 2day and is awesome build quality and finish, so i should have the engine in 2morrow or wednesday

The car is looking fantastic, keep up the good work, and standard throughout! Did you sort out your wheels? I have been looking to sort out shipping for sparco seets and theywork out $250AUD each if that is any indication. Also have you been thrashing your 4 door at awaba and how is that going?
It will only be another year before I get back i the seat of my SSS!

hi sauly the sedan as had a bit of a thrashing not much since its still my daily, i might be getting godzilladat's wheels off him 17 inch silver ones so i haven't decided yet on the 17 or the superlites id love a set of watanabes.

i got talking to Gordon 2 he brought some L series stuff of me he rallies a 1600 at awaba he said u brought an engine off him for the rally SSS.

If you are not keeping the seats can you do me a huge favour and save the drivers side rails for me, might need a set for my blue slip when I get back.
Yeh Gordies a good bloke did me a good deal on an L18 long block which saved me at the time.
