Hey all,

Thought I?d put up a few pics and spec?s on my 1600.
I finally got it on the road about 10 months ago only to have problems with a smokey tired engine, until September this year when I fitted the new rebuilt CA :)
It is now all run in and is travelling along much better! The plan is to get a few things sorted out a bit better and then to have a go at some track days..

Specs:
Fully Engineered CA18DET conversion.

Full ground up rebuild, no rust, painted in metallic dark green 2 pac paint.
Shell was sand blasted back to bare metal and new metal welded in to replace any rust.
Professionally seam welded chassis front to rear..

Fully rebuilt CA18DET motor (5000kms old)
CA18DET Gearbox
T25G turbo (S13 SR20)
450x300x75 front mount intercooler hidden behind standard front grill.
R180 diff 3.9 ratio
3inch to 2.5inch exhaust
EFI technology surge tank, pierburg lift pump and VL commodore high pressure pump.

Front: 240k struts with Toyota HIlux 4 piston calipers using bendix metal king pads with large honda legend ventilated discs. fully adjustable lower control arms and radius rods for camber / castor.
Rear: R31 skyline brake upgrade with rebuilt calipers and new disks. crossmember slotted to correct toe and camber and exhaust hole modified to allow 3 inch system.

Interior mostly standard apart from the front seats and a brand new charcoal velour headlining.
CD player with 6x9 speakers.
Alarm/immobiliser with keyless entry
Upgraded headlight wiring, 55/60 watt H4 outer globes with 150 watt sealed inners. Very Bright!
R30 Ti 15 inch rims with yokohama a539 rubber.
lots of bits rechromed.

Performance:
Before new engine, Pre engineers certificate and registration
Power: 140kw atw @ 9 pounds
I haven't got around to dynoing it with the new motor as yet.
Quarter Mile: Unknown as yet.

I had it dyno'd a couple weeks back - it pulled 141.5kW ATW at 12psi. On a different dyno to the one Mark had it on.
