I need to double check torque settings on my L28E, I don't know if this will matter but the head is N42 and the blocks from a Patrol. 47-61 foot pounds? does this sound right.

Also is there a list of all the torque settings, would probably come in handy sooner or later!

Thanks alot!
Jayson

I dont know if it varies from L28 to L28 but I believe you tighten from the inside to the out tightening sequence goes like this:

1st tightening: 20 ft-lb
2nd tightening: 30 ft-lb
3rd and final: 60 ft-lb

depending on the gasket you may need to do this again (if its not a mono-toque style gasket)

Mate, for goodness sake, invest in a Haynes Manual.
It'll save you a lot of grief...
