Im currently running a set of SU's on the racecar and have all the hardware for EFI - except the ECU and loom.

Motec is coming - assuming no accidents or major expenditures - in about 6 to 8 months. In the meantime though, anyone know of a decent, but still cheap 2nd hand ECU I can throw in till the budget is raised for the M4?

Doesnt necessarily have to be programable - as long as it will still run an L series, though of course prog is prefered.

Throw in any suggestions at all, Ill be looking into all of them!
Rivmasta.

I think my mate has a microtech digi 5 in the plastic, and he'll part with it for $200. it is programmable by using the dials on the actual ecu. e.g. fuel, ignition, rev limiter, etc. drop me a email if your keen and i'll get in contact with him. dunniss@hotmail.com

Sorry mate, but Ive made a few calls overnight and been heavily warned off regarding the older 'screwdriver' microtechs. Evidently they are a bastard to tune, and even when you think youve got it right they are down on power. Ive been told that they are very temperamental - better off sticking with a good set of SU's for offroad.

anyone else got an old ECU they want to part with? Fuel only Microtech with hand held tuner or similar?

Hi,
I have an old Injec EM1 fuel only computer in box with loom and manual. You can have it for $200. Its set up for a Z18et so will need tuning. I dont have a handset for it. It may help you out.
