Just thought I would start a post for anyone who hears or reads about etc, any automotive based events in Perth, such as drift days, hill climbs, test and tune days at Barbagello, motokana's, track days at Barbagello etc etc etc, and if we could get a sticky would be good to :wink:

test/tune days at barbagello are 3 times monthly for the whole year.

I will be going soon when I get my friggin clutch sorted :evil:

not sure of all the details yet about liscence n stuff but my housemate is looking into it now.

will report back when i know more unless someone else posts the info

i'm not 100% sure if this one applies or not but here goes anyway.

the ace ford club are having their 13th annual cruise night this saturday, 4th of feb.

initation extends to ALL makes & models meeting at 4.00pm, hayman road carpark, curtin university, departing 5.30pm.

entry fee is $20 per car

the all chrysler day was good, just a bit too warm for my daughter so we didn't stay too long.
spotted a car that we did a fair bit of work on a while back.
it used to be a VC val, spot the differences.

the primered one with the 2 inch roof chop.
the doors have been lengthened 9 inches & obviously a 2 door conversion followed. TC cortina bonnet bulge welded in, CM dash, '63 dodge roof skin & tail lights, and 40mm widening straight down the guts.
that's what happens when a retired boilermaker gets bored.

Saturday 11th (this Sat) 1st round of WA Drift Championship at Barbagello, starts at 2pm, 10bux PP or 30bux per car, I will probably be there so keep an eye out for me then. 8)

i only found out about it on saturday night.
