Wow! EFI'd A14 that's awesome. It's good that it's an A-series i reckon, retains it's class. How hard was it to get your hands on A-series Efi? i've never seen Efi for an A-series engine before.

that's some impressive restoration work you've done to that 1200coupe. keep it up!

We think that the A series EFI is the only one in NZ. There are about 4 - 6 in aussie and couple in the states and not sure how many left in Japan. Mine was imported from Japan and I got lucky and bought it.

I will oneday finish the coupe and I will post up pics as I do more to it.

Hi ... welcome to the forum.

Love the blue one .... I've never heard of injected a-series either. Very nice.
Justa standard 4speed?
My mum had a red coupe many years ago. Great little car. Love a-series motors..... Can't beat them for simplicity.

What part of NZ are you in? I'm guessing Wellington.

Cheers, Neil.

Yeah the A series EFI is kinda rare. The sedan has a standard pattern 5speed box, got a dogleg 5speed box with 1:1 5th to go in it oneday.

Nah not in Wellywood. Just look to your left 8)

While out having a play in some gravel, the exhaust got hooked up nearly ripped itself off. One of the mufflers got wedged in behind the gearbox mount and nearly twisted the motor off its mounts, so it was time for a rebuild!!

Had to modify the engine mount to fit the new flows/headers...........

And the had to modify the mounting face of the flow/headers to fit the EFI and to also clear the steering idle thingie!!!!
