Sunday 26th Feb is a auction to fundrase money for the Reaney family. As you may remember in December 05 Mark Reaney was involved in a serious crash in his drag car at Kwinana. He is slowly recovering but the family is stugling, thats why the auction is being held!

Deza knows alot more about this, but I have scanned a leaflet.

So ive put together a cruise to go down to Rockingham where the auction is being held. There is a volentary fee to come that will be 100% donated to the Reaney family of $5(more if your feeling generous)

There are 3 meet points in this cruise and i have timed it so we will be on time(hopefully)

Time & Date: 26th Febuary 2006
Meet point:
Hillarys Boat Harbour for 11:00AM leave (MAP)
Cottesloe for 11:45AM leave (MAP)
Coogee for 12:45PM leave (MAP)
Where to: Point Peron, Navy Club at about 1:15PM
What to Bring: You, your datto and a donation (and money for lunch/buying stuff at the auction!)

I did this run today(15th) and timed it all so it should all fall together!

I know i said this last time but please make an effort to come, I dont want to have done all this just for 3 people! I want as many as possible! There will be other car cruises ending there, so lets show em what we've got!!!

Can EVERYONE please do your best to be at this event as we need to raise as much money as we can to help out rebuilding Mark Reaney's Family cash flow.

PLEASE NOTE MONIES RAISED ARE NOT BEING USED TO REBUILD THE CAR.

I visited Mark on Sunday he hope join us all at the auction with his family next Sunday.

Well i was wrong... 2!!! **** 2!!! thats me and Deza. **** appaling! So there was absolutly no point for me making this thread!
We also had 3 roadster guys come.

WHY? common people I wanna know why only 2 people got back to me from the 20+ PMs i sent out! And why nobody turned up? Should i even bother? Do you want to go on cruises? Why did 10 people come to the first one and then over 4 cruises it turned into 2




Other then that it was good fun! As they always are!

Still sorting out my house, really didn't feel like driving in convoy today, havn't spent any time with my dog (has seen me to be fed mostly) for the past three weeks.

Just been so busy.

Spent the day with my friend and his girlfriend (friend owns my dogs mother and grand mother, my friends girlfriend owns my dogs sister 4 rotties down at the river swiming and fetching balls.

Sorry but I think I needed the relax time aswell.

Yes it was a great run those of you who turn up on the day.

The Auction was fantasic with over 200 people including some BIG NAMES there (ie: Brett Stevens. the O'Rouke Family, The buchannan's and there Crews).
A great total raised tooo $33'340 + ~$4000 cash.

sorry for bringing up old stuff but i was there wasn't I? granted not for the whole cruise but i did give money and attend.

this isn't to start something and i know i have been to bugger all cruises of late but until very recently i wasn't in a financial situation to do so.

but now i am and i have coupe money so when is the next one?

im thinking the weekend of the 25th june, ive gotten in contact with Old School Toys and they are eager for a joint cruise! Just for something different. they are primarily Toyotas but the club is open to any pre 1990 car(or 10yr old i cant remember)

Well this is all providing i have the doorjamb in the z!!!

Yeh time for another cruise, even tho short of the sudden appearance of some unexpected dollars my Datto will not be attending, I'm sure i could get a lift in a certain white 180B wagon that likes to scare people, so if we can get some interested numbers and some definate "affirmative's" (& weather permitting) it would be a good day out. Maybe something out the back of Wanneroo Event organizer, some nice roads and sh!t up around Barbagello Raceway, and Yanchep is always a nice place for lunch

Not exactly what I would call old school. Pre 1980's maybe. If its got efi, it aint old school to me.

I'd have to spend more time driving to get there than driving in the cruise i think
