History of Japanese Cars
For more than 50 years the Japanese automobile industry have designed and built motor vehicles that have graced our roads and had a huge effect on the Australian economy and our every day lifestyle.

The Japanese motor vehicles have also had a huge impact on the automobile industries of the world. The car of the 60?s, 70?s and 80?s and even right up to the present day have been in the forefront of design, innovation and technology.

Brisbane has never had a car display dedicated solely to these Classic Japanese Cars and on the day of the show we will finally see the Inaugural Classic Japanese Show and Shine presented by the Z Car Club of Queensland Inc.

Who will the day benefit?
The Z Car Club of Queensland Inc.?s nominated Charity is Angel Flight Australia which co-ordinate financially needy patients and there carers to fly free of charge to medical facilities anywhere in Australia. This charity will be the major beneficiary of the Show and Shine.

It's time to get your club or you family or friends together and bring out those beauties which hide beneath the covers out for the day. Food and drink stalls will be on hand for entrants and public alike but please feel free to bring a picnic if you wish. It is hoped that this event will grow in coming years and more and more cars will be displayed.

Posted on behalf of Ray Ferguson:

Japanese Car Enthusiast

As you are aware of the upcoming Classic Japanese Show and Shine.

This is a reminder, as at this point I have not received your entry form.
The entries close on /about the 15/9/06.

I would appreciate it if you could see your way clear to send your entry as early as possible if you are still going to participate. This will alleviate the last minute of juggling cars into various groups/clubs.

If you don?t you could miss out on winning one of three major prizes. One of them being a photo shoot of your car and have it professionally printed.

There are also quite a number of raffles/prizes to be won. These will be displayed on the day.

Apart from our sponsors (Shannons ? Norris Motor Group ? Australian Japanese Restorer), we will have trade displays

Judging will be done by the public nominations and also the entrants. This prevents anyone being bias towards a car/group

We also will be donating profits to our nominated charity (Angel Flight)

If you are concerned as to the public, their will be SES and security on site.

Various types of food will be available as well as coffee and drinks.

I trust that you will help me in getting the entries in early.

Look forward to seeing you and your pride and joy on the day

Regards RAY FERGUSON

CO-ORDINATOR for the Z_CAR CLUB QLD
