I had a nice 'bubbly' area above my wheelarch on the PS.
Took to it with the sander then the cut off wheel.
I'm just about to start makeing up a patch for it now.

In a couple of weeks, I will be making up the outer panel for the drivers side & fitting it up.
It's not going to be easy either with all those curves... :?

Lurch,

Looking good mate. Just keep chipping away and before you know it, you'll be done.

Don't forget that fish oil when she's painted... Don't wanna walk down the same path in 5 years time!!!

Care for a visitor some time? Pop around to mine either tonite or over the long weekend and see what nasty stuff I am getting into!!!

And they seam to last a fair while to :)

Cheers, Nik.

the great thing about 1mm wheels is they don;t create as much heat as 2.5mm wheels.

hot knife thru butter... 8)

repair work looks great dude. don;t forget when you're sanding bog, wrap the paper around a long-ish block to minimise any dips in the sanding and then it should stay true to the contours of the panel.
