I had a 16" x 6.5" rim with a 36mm offset test fitted on the weekend. No go. That's with 240k struts. only left about 1mm clearance between the rim and strut tower. I'm trying to work out at the moment what the necessary offset is to fit 16 x 7. :?

offset is between 0-10mm (not quite sure)

Silvia offset is +35.

You might find they'll fit on the back - although they'll sit in a fair way, just not on the front.

Original fitment was offset of 28mm, but that's for a wheel that's only 4.5" wide. I've been talking to Simmons in NSW, they reckon that for a 16x7 rim, 24mm offset is the go, although I'd be cautious because of different struts etc. Barry from Datsport has suspension packages which will allow fitment of wheels with 40mm offset. All depends on your budget, and how long you're prepared to wait. ROH now offer 3 piece wheels, which are made up to suit, but at about $450 per wheel and a delivery time of 8 - 10 weeks....
