Just so we're all on the same page, the last thread like this was locked after some err.. aggressive discussion. Keep it civil and don't even TRY to make comparisons with anyone but yourself. OK? Dave |

Yeah, why not - someone's gotta come last Not sure on some of the specs as I didn't build it. 1970 1600 L18 A87 head with large ports, 44mm inlets and unknown cam. Cam was dialled in by the dynotuner using a dial guage, drill and angle grinder Looks like standard compression from the dish in the pistons Twin SU's extractors with 2inch exhaust and single rear "muffler" (which doesn't seem to actually muffle anything ) 3.7:1 R160 69 rwhp - the quote from the dynotuner was " I usually get more out of these little Datsun motors" |

When i got home with my 1600 i had a tidy up of the fuel maps done it was runnin rich all through the rev range as it was mapped without dyno facilities when built... didnt have much money left so couldnt get it runnin sweet... 1600 4 Sedan Ingredients: EMS Qi4 Stock S12 FJ20ET 3" Exhaust Evo 7 Cooler Stock T3 Stock Internals Mazda Chain Tensioner 119kw 8.5psi major boost drop issues at end of run, i think thats because of the pussy plastic bosch BOV leaking. Doesnt sound like much but still goes hard, needs about 5 hours on dyno to create new maps and was blowing out past every gasket hope i can get this higher when its back on the road Simon |
