L20B has different sized main bearings (larger) than L18. You need to have the block line-bored to take an L20B crank.

Unless you really need to (class rules force you to use an L18 block, or the slightly taller L20B block causes clearance issues), using the L20B block will be considerably cheaper and easier.

It was mainly just for Rego purposes... car has l18 already. Didn't want to have to engineer an l20b into it.
