When did the head gasket blow? I really like that little 120, from what I have seen of it it looks like a real neat little conversion.

I'm not sure how long the HG has been leaking, its a tiny leak between cylinder and waterjacket, compression test cant pick which cylinder it is. But yeah it runs a bit hot (try to avoid traffic lights) and uses a little bit of water. Pity but the guy I bought it off is helping me change it.

Lurch I'm not a car whore, I havnt bought a new car since... January lol

This isnt my uni car, thats a bog stock '84 corona, which will get these 14" jellybeans as soon as my special 15x8 chasers are ready for the 120Y

The plan is to drive this to the nats, but as its looking now I may have a uni field trip on easter weekend... gay :x

did you have to lip the guards to fit the 8" rears? or flare the rear at all? or is it some special shortened diff?

cheers Lurch, the guys workin at the tyre place thought it looked cool, so it must be lol.
Team_dat the guards have been slightly rolled, and the diff is, well i dunno, about the same as stock. The good thing about getting them made up is the offset is perfect, no rubbing anywhere(yet).

Wow - I thought it would be a little quicker than that. Do you think there is much room for improvement in that time?

new headgasket and more boost would improve it no end... and taking some sh*t out like spare etc. Also had a full tank. I'm sure more practise wouldnt go astray either :P
