i got Datsport cables and stainless braided hose kit piece of piss to fit up and the lines look pretty too!
seen as though your doin a good job of the brakes, may aswell spend a bit extra and go the braided lines to get the most out of your setup!

My solution was at the time based on the KISS principal.
Minimal re-routing of existing hard line, re-use of R31 flexible line.

i got a 31 and r30 so can have a play with it on the weekend or something. just didnt wanna rip everything off and find out no way its gonna fit.

I have some conversion brackets that will mount R31 callipers onto an MR30 drum brake rear.
Is that what you want??

When I said,
Quote:

I meant I have several sets of these available, for sale, to you, and others, etc.
As you can see, they have a section missing so you don't need to dissemble the hub to fit them.
They are also reversible so it matters not which bracket you use on what side.
I did this conversion to an MR30 years ago and I can't remember what disc rotor I used.
From memory, I think you slip the R31 rotor over the studs and job done :)
I can easily verify that.

The R31 calliper bracket is of no use to this conversion.
Wrong shape, wrong offset and it doesn't fit either.

I think the existing brake hose mates up with the calliper.

One wrinkle with using these callipers is the handbrake cable.
You might have to get one custom made.
The existing drum brake cable is not suitable from memory.
