Progress has been slow on shed due to other things popping up but will be back into it soon. In other news I sold my HR last week :( wasn't for the money just purely for the fact it was never driven and Ive lost passion for it over the last few years with the y and other things taking over. Looking to replace it with a 70's Chevelle in a few years time wanted one for as long as I can remember and still haven't lived out my V8 phase yet

That poor HR will now hate 120Ys for the rest of it's life  Great to hear you've already got a replacement in mind.

 Her dream car has always been a HK,T,G Monoro so the chevelle is kinda like a American one. Its the only car Ive ever seen her excited about so will be cool to own one together.

Shed will be hopefully finished over the next month then I can give the sedan some attention and hopefully have it ready for jap day this year. Scored a grail part for it on the weekend B210 GX coupe dash been wanting one for years and only seen one other in Australia so there quite rare. Plans are to give it a resto then will either get standard gauges sorted or replace with speed huts haven't decided yet.

And his mate at the gauge place haha. Swaying with idea of using standard tach, speedo temp ect then get a vdo or similar boost and oil pressure gauge for the smaller spots. The third hole normally doesn't have a gauge mounted as a clock was optional it has a small sunny blanking plate which is pretty cool.

Nice dash Stu! When I was about 16 I saw a 120Y wagon on a school camp and thought it looked awesome, got home and decided that I didn't like the 120Y dash. If I'd known that dash had existed though...I like the idea of the standard gauge idea you have though, keep it looking as factory as possible I say  any progress photos of the car?
