Well it's finally time to make a start on the 2 door project
It's been sitting around for a couple of years now gathering dust, being used as coffee table and for storage for all sorts of boxes and things.... The engine will be here soon so it's time to get the body into shape....

This is what we have to start with.... pretty rough you will agree, But here in Australia we don't get too many choices
when it comes to 2 door 16's as they were never imported into Australia by Nissan, So all those that are available here have been privately imported

I am not sure of the history of this car as it was purchased from a guy in Vic Country and he didn't have much knowledge of it's history either.

What I can tell is that it has been rallied at sometime
evident from the hydraulic handbrake welded to the floor
and from the fact the it's been seam welded, and has a few
adjustable suspension bits, rear sway bar, K struts, Gas inserts and Gas shocks at the rear.
It also had a set of flares at some stage that, as you can see from the pics have been ripped off before I got it.
It was also minus a motor and gearbox.
