Yeah, i know mate. I wasn't having a dig at you, tried to add the sarcasm just for the fact that anyone would think of using rivets for any structural part of a car. As it turns out, some of my sill on this car has been riveted on by previous owner :x

Yeah after seeing what the previous owners of my previously QLD registered datto did any thing is possable.I wouldn't put it past those dumb folk to try something like pop rivets.Aparently up in QLD folk contemplated cutting the front cross member to facilitate fitting a L 20 b motor instead of using a 1600 sump.I was fortunate in the fact that the L 20b was not fitted but you could see where they marked out where they wanted to cut the cross member.

Well, Toby above is from QLD. Not all Queenslanders have issues when it comes to working on cars. You should see the rebuild of a coupe that Toby is working on currently.

Not even a restoration. Try unpicking all the floors and seams and completely replacing them!

Great work mate.
