There is a strange idea going through my head to buy the carbon fibre door trims too, but they might be on the edge of gayness. Easy to keep clean :D !

Can buy a complete pack for $500US.. thats all door trims, kick panels, dash valance, and also parcel shelf!!

Think I'll stick with vinyl....

Scuff plates are a definite... if there isnt a crazy amount of people who want them, I can buy in a few sets!! Just commit to them and dont rip me!! :D

Yeah, looking now... I wouldn't bother with all of it. For cheaper you could probably get mdf board and cover it with that carbon fibre tape stuff. But it'd be pretty "cold" for a car theme. Yeah, borderline gayness. But I can't say i haven't thought of doing the same thing at one point in time.

my son is currently making scuff plates and other bits n pieces for his stanza out of carbon fibre, dont have pics of scuff plates yet, but gonna try to post a pic of the steering column shroud that he has done in carbon fibre. his work so far has been in plain black carbon fibre but we have found a supplier of coloured carbon fibre/kevlar, the blue carbon fibre is blue woven with black looks great, there is all other colours reds, greens, orange whatever your car is, he is going to do door cards, consoles, parcel shelf etc as he gets the time

btw, if you want 'as new' ones, find a metal finisher. there's a good one in SA called A1 metal finishers or Blu Chrome in sydney
