240k sway bar is 22mm from memory and should be around the same length as 200b??

I think the 240K is a bit wider than a 200B.

Got a swaybar today for $10 and it's 23mm.

Nice one
Do you know if it was out of a pintara or a skyline?

It was from a Pintara. Looked at the skyline ones which may be a mm or two thicker, but in the end I went for the safe bet. The pintara one only just fits in the 200B D-shackles.

I can't really tell if it's improved the handling much. I've taken it for a drive and it feels different, but I don't know if it's improved...

Still for $10 I'm not complaining. For the money it's worth doing.

For anyone digging for info i thought i'd add to this old thread... the r31 skyline bar is 25mm and it fits in the 200B d-mounts... i used a couple of washers between the body and the mount so the bush was perfectly held. It's a tight fit to get it all in but it fits nicely. An s13 bar would also fit but you will need s13 endlinks. I will be cutting a slot in the sump guard to allow the bar to fit but most people have discarded theirs it seems.

I installed a 25mm r31 bar yesterday in my 200B and it makes a massive difference on its own even at stock front ride height. It was so sloppy with body roll and understeer before. I can't wait to get the s3 TRX rear end in with its 20mm rear bar and see how that goes along with the r31 coilovers i've built. 4kg springs and new KYB shocks should help too. Rear is stock cut springs on new KYBs.

cheers i hope that helps someone

Also in the non IRS model 200bs the 910 bluebird rear sway bars bolt right up, both my 200b sedans even had the mounting holes in the trailing arms

Digging up this old thread, alas the R31 Skyline bar isn't the right fit for a 200b. Yes it will bolt in, but the angle that the end link is on isn't in line. Officially the Skyline bar is 30mm wider between end links distance and 25 mm further rearward from centre to centre. I wasn't prepared to wear the bushes out and anything else that could go wrong with that setup. I stuck with the 200b sway bar for my own piece of mind! But do what you feel is right..
