G'day,

My Laurel C31 with live axle only has a 18mm front sway bar and no sway bar in the back.
C31 Laurels have the same chassis as R30 Skylines so does anyone know if there is a bigger sway bar that will fit a R30 front and maybe rear?

We never got Skyline's in Europe but we did get S12's, Z31's, S13's so maybe something from these will fit?

Hey!

I meant to reply earlier with this. If the rear setup is the same as an R30, you'll find that 280ZX, Bluebird and of course the R30 setups will have swaybars on them. On the rear I think they're 16 or 18mm from memory. Do your rear arms have holes in the swingarms to accommodate a swaybar?

If you have a picture of your rear independent setup that'd definitely help us correctly identify it as there were a few similarities and differences for about a decade.

Z31 has a very similar setup but it's all not quite the same. S13 is entirely different as it uses a double wishbone setup. S12 may be similar but can't really be sure as I haven't personally seen what an S12 IRS is like.

Thanks but it uses a solid H190. Europe only got solid axle C31's, some country's also got IRS C31's.

I bought a S13 front sway bar and its got perfect measurements for the front! So maybe I can put the stock 18mm in the rear.

Ahh silly me didn't read! That's odd!

Is there a H190 in something else like a Gazelle that has similar axle width? I think that'll be your best bet. But realistically anything similar can be made to fit.

I did a trawl through a wrecking yard once to look for anti roll bars, it can be surprising how similar some are, if they are hollow then they can be bent a bit if required. Bend up a piece of wire for any important shape and take some measurements before looking.
