So I did try to search but basically, couldn't find a topic related to this question. Point me in the right direction if you can. Considering running R31 rear brakes in my 1971 510 and want to make sure they fit before ordering them and having them sent to the U.S. Baz suggested that I provide a drawing of the inside of my wheel which I still might do unless someone can confirm fitment.

Currently running 14 X 6.5 (+9.5 offset) Watanabes both front and rear. The main concern is the caliber fitment, not the rotor. What is the census on that working for me?

All i can say is that an R31 Skyline came with 14inch steel wheels so you have that going for you.

As this gentleman said, the base model R31 comes with 14x5.5 wide steel rims.

Your 14 inch alloys will definitely be no issue, the rear caliper doesn't come past the rotor hat from memory, therefore a true 14 inch alloy will be no issue if a 14inch steelie clears easily.

I have seen a 13 inch Hayashi wheel over R31 rear brakes so you should be fine

I can confirm but I am 99.9% certain we run 14" rims over R31 discs and calipers in the rear of ours

This was a few years ago so I'll have to see if me or the person I met who did this has any photos. In the mean time, imagine an R31 with 13 inch Hayashi Streetfin wheels!

Thank you all! I did know that the R31 came with 14" stock but it was the offset that I was concerned about. Based on my research the stock offset was +20 so I should be fine with the +9.5 that I have.
