Hey! Long time since I have posted here.
I have finally gotten my sh*t together and datto project has been started.

The B310 has got a 3rz (plus turbo) and the box to suit in the car fabbed up ready to mount the good motor. (Mind you we need to redo the gearbox mounting, the original holes aren't very strong to handle the extra weight and power apparently)

Diff options for me im curious how much power the original diff can do and if i can made it a LSD or if its worth chopping down my spare Hilux diff to suit then get axles made obviously.

As for steering Any options i can do to rebuild the original or anything better that bolts in or "bolts" in with some welding haha.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! :D

I've attached a photo of how she looked before and another on how she looks now.

If you already have a Hilux diff there then I would use that. They're more than strong enough, plus you can pick your centre and ratio very cheaply and easily. For a live axle rear it is a very logical option. Plenty of people run 300rwkw through them and they hold up, plus there are plenty of V8 Hiluxs getting around that still run the standard Hilux diffs.
