otherwise, find a 3" dump on ebay and go from there... like you, i have no skills to make my own.

What about this:

I dont know if Datsport have one, might be worth a call.

Cheers,

Trent

Picked up a 3.9:1 R180 LSD out of GD series STI this morning. less than half of what the locally-favoured Jap importer charges. but hey, saved 1k on the engine package going elsewhere too.
:D
Gears look great, feels good. Happy days. Beta axles should arrive Monday.

Gauge install has me thinking... Trent (hailest), this thread has me feeling all DIY... mount the gauges to a plate or cylinder (pvc pipe) then filling, sanding, smoothing the 3M "goop" to the fascia to fill the gaps from square to round...

A nice tip from Camo at Datsport is to loosen off the engine crossmember bolts, should drop another half inch.
I had a jack or two underneath for safety.
I put an old heater hose between the rocker cover/firewall so you can get as much movement as possible without scratching.

Coming along well Ryan!

Have you thought about 16" wheels?

Cheers,

Trent

i have 16's.. but the tires overhang just that little too much, the previous tires didn't, but this brand do... maybe a 195 instead of a 205 would do the trick.
it's just a 195/50-16 wasn't a common size. it's an option though.

looking at the wheel again today, the furthest overhang of the tire past the the rim is 12mm. so the backspace on the 16x7 +35 gets out to 147-150mm (roughly).
this clears the rear swingarm by about 5mm, but just touches the front.. literally 2-5mm less and it wouldn't touch.

15's would be pretty cool though if they clear the calipers. :D

Speak to SX-510 about the battery @ the front. I personally like it mounted there. My problem is that my I/C piping doesn't leave me much room there (FJ20t).

Hey Ryan,

Have you thought about the possibility of an oil cooler? See lag510's which places the oil cooler in the front where you have the battery (Nice setup). If you decide to go down that path i might be better to mount it on the firewall.

Cheers,

Trent
