Hi guys I've got this idea that we should have a wheel thread so those who are new to the Datsun scene or plan on changing their rims know what fits on to what car and with what tyres etc etc

I'm quite a wheel whore my self and I have personally have changed rims about 3 times! I've finally settled with my current set but if something nicer comes along that might all change lol

simply just copy the template below and fill in the details together with a photo or more as you please.

Vehicle:

Wheel Make/Model:

Wheel Size:

Offset:

Tyre size:

Spacers Y/N?

Comments:

I'll kick it off for you all....

Vehicle: 180B

Wheel Make/Model: SportMax 002

Wheel Size: 15x8

Offset: 0

Tyre size: 195/50-R15

Spacers Y/N? No

Comments: Having larger guards compared to the 1600s these wheels really fill up the guards and close up the gap between the wheel and guard when lowered, Ineer side of the rim clears the outer side of the control arms, and I chose 195 tyres because I wanted the stretched look and able to really tuck them in I lowered the severely.

Comments: Require rolled rear guards with such balloony tyres, 185/60 would be better suited.

Bought because they are reasonably priced & are the easiest 17inch to buy off the shelf without resorting to multi-piece rims.

Spacers Y/N? no

Comments: very very light rim, white is a pain to keep clean, came straight off an imported r31, 225's on it rubbed guards, hard to find if damaged to replace, clear r31 and bluebird disk brakes no worries, will clear r31 import and r32 non turbo brakes aswell, great rubber to rim ratio.
