Hey guys does anyone know any household products other then toothpaste to clean my headlights plastic covers it seems like they are very dull and I think they need to be clear for bluslip inspections any help would be greatly appreciated

My R33 Skyline had this problem, the acrylic headlamp lenses need scrubbing every month or so.
I found a good product that will get that yellow film off without scratching is Autosol polish.
I actually used their metal polish but I see now they have a plastic polish

Suitable for helmet visors so it must not scratch at all.
I used it with a soft cloth like a cotton flannel or old hand towel, wait for it to dry then you rub it off with the same type of cloth.
Try it out on a small area first to get the idea and to see if it works OK for you.

You can buy a headlight resto kit from repco. Comes with everything you need there about $30 we use them at work all the time for cars that need there's redone for RWC's.

I did some recently with 1500 grade wet and dry then cutting compound (they were really bad) skip the wet and dryif yours aren't.
you can then spray them with clearcoat.

We use a product from "Invision" that also has a clear coat as the final step. Comes up magic.
We tried the Permatex kit, which only has sandpaper and polish but it wasn't as good.

The key word is household guys.

I usually use vinegar and let sit for a few day.
Or a fine sandpaper and basso actually.

Bleach may help also, but may colour.
