Can someone please tell me if the above calipers are a direct bolt onto R31 rear caliper mounts and if so which discs do people run with this combo.

I understand the issue with the handbrake, but I can get around that.

Cheers guys/girls

Shaun

What engine are you running? Because most of the time R31 Calipers will suffice with around 200kw coming out yr rear.

I'm running a FJ20t with around 250kw, I have R33 fronts now and would like to match the rears for looks and performance. I also have R32 rear calipers lying around at home :D .

No. they will not bolt on to R31 mounts.

but its a fairly straight forward bracket to adapt the r32 caliper to the r31 bracket to suit the r32 disc

http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/p ... ?lid=13294
shows the trial bracket i made. have dimentions for it too

they have fins on them and not much of a front surface with pretty much no middle , so the brembo sticker doesnt really have a place to go or fit right....r32 calipers on the other hand can have a nice flat spot where the nissan casting used to be

Edit, and you mean r31 calipers painted black with polished fin tops right

no, it was referring to Shauns front calipers which are Sumitomo's calipers with Brembo stickers.
Just razzin...

If you use the trailing arms from a Rb20DET R31 then the R32 2pots are a direct bolt up job (other than you need different rubber brake lines).
They fit the vented discs and work with the factory internal drum handbrake, So just depends what R31 setup you are trying to bolt them to,
