Need to finish welding the boot then start stripping paint. Anyone know a good brand of paint stripper?

Interesting you left the boot lock in - I would have taken the opportunity to blank it and use a cable release from a Bluebird or something with a similar size lock.

Good effort so far, I'm not a metal fab kind of person, lack the skills and patience to learn. So I envy you ha.

Didn’t think about blanking it off completely probably a good idea Imago but I might still add a cable release later. Trust me I’m no metal fab guy either, and my patience is pretty much zero but if I don’t do it it'll just sit there for the next 10 years rusting away. If I can bang couple panels together anyone can! Buying a good welder will make any amateur look like pro. Haven’t received it yet I’ll let you know when it arrives!

Some help with phosphoric acid overnight ate all the rust on this side
