What power will be run through it and what do you plan on using it for exactly?
Theres nothing wrong with the factory clsd if not worn out.
Im sure you could get out of it cheaper than that although not many poeple sell complete bolt in kits.
Did you try Datsport and Maddat?

power will be between 250 and 300 rwkw just a street driver mostly but im sure to get on a strip and track once in a while. have not checked out anyone else as yet, but i thought that kind of money is steep.

Not really if you add up the individual parts.

KAAZ $1500
CV Axles $1000.
3.9 open r200 Diff $450.
Bushes. $65
Rear brace. $185.
Setup lsd in diff, new bearings, seals and paint etc. $500.

approx total... $3700.

You could probably save around $900 using a factory clsd instead of the KAAZ...

That is impressive, 300rwkw = 400rwhp!

What is your engine setup?

No, youd save yourself, based on above, around $2500, less the cost of a complete r200
The one i am selling at 1200, will save you 1300.
And yes they will easily handle your output.
Kev Mackrell is running stock r200 in his V8 hillclimb Z, thats at around 450+hp at flywheel
The weak points will be driveshafts.

This guy is obviously going to obliterate std uni-joint halfshafts with that kind of power which is why i didnt mention the cheapest way to get an R200.
Also i assume he is wanting something rebuilt/reconditioned due to the quality of the rest of his car build and custom cv's are a must have item.
What i implied was if he used a factory clsd he could save a fair bit and still have great performance, e.g.:

CV Axles $1000.
3.9 clsd r200 $1050.
Bushes. $65
Rear brace. $185.
New friction discs, bearings, seals and paint etc. $500.

approx total... $2800.

This is only rough number crunching and he could save more depending on if he done some of the work himself etc. Those are 'business' prices.

I recently installed one in my own 1600 recently and did it this way:

R200 3.9clsd $900 (cheap).
Rear brace. $Free. Made it myself with flat bar and some welding.
Rear brace bushes $65?
CV axles $600 (used).

Approx total... $1565 (but i didnt recon the diff at all and didnt deal with businesses.)...
