i haven't refurbished my wheel hubs yet in case i need to use spacer plate to fit whatever rims i get.

has anyone welded or bolted spacer plates to hubs before?

are the hubs made from mild steel? (ie, can they be welded without changing the metal's properties)

a circumferential butt-weld would look 'neater' once the hubs have been refurbished, but it will be kinda irreversible (but let's be honest who would want to go back to the pain-in-the-ass datto offset anyway :roll: )
